8 years old

This weekend we spent the weekend celebrating Namejs' 8th birthday with 4 of his friends. He had requested a sleepover birthday. They all seemed to have a great time and enjoy the experience:

Lots of swimming: day time, a night swim, and an early morning swim
Lots of food: hot dogs, french fries, doritos (a find at a new store!), chips, candy, popcorn with the movies, candy bags, pancakes in the morning.
Games: Follow the strings, a treasure hunt, murder mystery, giants/elves/wizards, dinosaurs attacking...and many more imaginary games!
Movies in the evening

I am exhausted and so are the boys. Namejs has had a smile on his face all day remembering the fun. When asked what he liked best about the party the answer was: That I got to spend separate time with everyone I invited, and that we all played well together.

I can't believe that he is already 8!
