Sledding in Pamati
All four cousins had a blast sledding in Pamati pre New Year:
Not only was the process fun, but the view and beauty of my mother's property is hard to miss.

On the way to finding the right hill:
Breaking in the track.
This was taken after about an hour of sledding. It was about -15 outside. The kids were quite warm, and were eventually able to take off their hats. Here you see how quickly the moisture froze: the white in Didzis' hair is formed by ice crystals. Note that his eyelashes are also crystallized.
Once the track began working the kids started practice their navigation skills.
