Flying out to Australia

And we are off!  We woke up early this morning to leave the apartment at 6am, and arrived to no lines at the departure gates, and easy customs clearance, a quick sotp in duty free, and a not so peaceful wait in the airport lounge with the screaming Air Asia PA system.  I wish had brought earplugs for this part of the trip.

We are so looking forward to arriving in Perth in just a few hours.  Looking forward to hugging my Mum, seeing all the relatives and friends, and most of all just enjoying a break from the regular requirements of work.  I know I will enjoy daily beach walks, swims and spending quality time with the boys.  The boys will also experience Australia for the first time - a country of which they are both citizens, but have never traveled to.  I look forward to sharing all the good with them.  It will also be a time of reflection for us in terms of considering if we might make a move to Australia eventually.  So many checks in the positive column... But this three weeks should give us a better sense if we could live there as a family also.

Hopefully we will have lots of pictures to post, and lots of stories to share.
